By downloading, installing, or using Beefy, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Beefy is a nutrition and fitness tracking application that uses AI-powered meal recognition to help you log food, track calories and macros, and build healthy habits. The app is provided for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Beefy offers free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features require a paid subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds are handled according to the platform's refund policy.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any photos, data, or content you submit through the app. By submitting content, you grant Beefy a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, process, and store that content solely to provide and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to access systems without authorisation, reverse engineering the app, submitting false or misleading information, or using the service in any way that violates applicable law.

7. AI and Nutritional Accuracy

Beefy uses AI models to estimate nutritional values from photos. These estimates may not always be accurate. You acknowledge that calorie and macro data provided by the app is approximate and should not be relied upon for medical treatment or clinical nutrition decisions.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beefy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
